3. The Reason to Trust God

While many of these pages refer to modern science, it must be made clear that the reason to trust in Jesus is not based on science’s study of how nature works. The reason to trust in Jesus is based on love. God’s love for us.

God loves you!

If you don’t know what it is to love in relationship with God, then know that Jesus died for the forgiveness of sins ... anything that would separate you from God so that you can life the life that God created you to live ... life at it’s best, both here now and eternally.

There is a deep yearning in every person ... a yearning for something that seems missing. That something is what God created us to have - it is fulfilled in a real relationship with Him. Millions of people around the world in every culture have discovered this to be true by embracing what Jesus has done for us. Religion won’t do that for you and Jesus didn’t come to start a religion, He came to restore our relationship with God.

These pages won’t give you any of that, but if you have been so closed to the reality of Jesus and what He has done for you I am hoping that these will break down those mental walls of immediate rejection and will cause you to look to Jesus. The goal of these pages is not to cause you to continue searching for scientific ‘proof’ about the Bible. Feel free to do that if you like, but the fulfillment of that deep yearning is not found there, it is found in Jesus.
